About Seattle Fuller Brush
Art Pearson started selling Fuller Brush in 1938, when he was in his early 20’s. He was then drafted into the U.S. Marine Corps and fought in Saipan and Okinawa, earning two combat battle ribbons.
After the war, Art resumed selling Fuller Brush products to support his wife and two sons. He sold for 70 years and became the oldest active selling Fuller Brush Man in the country.
Art was still taking orders when he was 90-years old, but he had a hard time delivering his products door-to-door because he couldn’t walk very well. His son, Ken, wanted to help his father and would drive him around town to deliver his products. The father and son team took orders and delivered together for 2 years, until Art passed away in 2011.
After Art passed away, Ken decided to continue his father’s business and take care of more than 5,000 of Art’s customers. Ken opened a Fuller Brush store in Southcenter and will also deliver or ship products.
